Full Service Hydraulic Shop

Project Background

The hydraulic shop offers a full range of hydraulic repair and machining services, including maintenance, repairs, and remanufacturing of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and motors. Witmer Coatings observed that the existing epoxy floor had chipped areas and signs of wear, indicating that the concrete was contaminated with oil and hydraulic fluids. By addressing these issues with proper surface preparation and material selection, Witmer Coatings aims to restore the floor’s integrity, improve its performance, and extend its service life in this demanding industrial setting.

Scope of Work
• Remove existing coatings and loose concrete
• Wash exposed concrete with enzymatic oil cleaner
• Install 1/4″ urethane cement overlayment
• Install 16mils of 100% solid epoxy
• Diamond grind floor
• Install urethane top coat
