Veterans Memorial Elementary School
Project Background
The Witmer Group completed the masonry and joint sealants for the new Veterans Memorial Elementary School in Parkland School District.
The scope of work consisted of:
- CMU Foundations
- Interior CMU
- Firewalls
- CMU Stair Towers
- CMU Elevator Towers
- CMU Gymnasium
- CMU Mechanical/Refuse Area Site Walls with Brick Veneer and Limestone Wall Copings
- Exterior Modular Brick Veneer with DCMU Accents
The project consisted of:
- 53,000 CMU
- 193,000 Modular Brick
- Decorative Ground Face Masonry Unit Accents
- Limestone Wall Coping
The waterproofing scope of work included:
- Dampproofing
- Joint Sealants
- Firestopping
- Expansion Joints
The masonry and waterproofing team worked together to complete a beautiful finished project with superior quality work. The new elementary school will accommodate a growing population of residents in the southwest corner of Parkland School District.
