The early revitalization projects at Beaver Stadium have been completed, with key upgrades debuting for the 2024 Penn State Football season. The enhancements focus on the East side and end zones, significantly improving the fan experience and enabling winter events through advanced winterization. Major upgrades include the expansion of Gates A and E, the transformation of Gate F, and significant videoboard improvements in the South end zone. Gates A and E have been expanded to improve fan circulation and accessibility, featuring additional escalators, increased concession stands, and more restrooms. Gate F, on the East side, now serves as a vibrant, open-air space where fans can enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment, while new security perimeters and access points ensure smoother entry. The Witmer Group contributed to this transformative project. Our role involved completing over 8,400 linear feet of precision caulking, ensuring durability and seamless integration with the updated structure. This critical work enhances the weatherproofing and aesthetic quality of the façade, aligning with the high standards of the overall renovation. These efforts underscore our commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail in one of the most ambitious stadium revitalization projects in college sports.
These improvements are already delivering a more immersive and convenient game-day experience, having gone live for the 2024 home opener. Discover more about this transformative project—click here for the full details:https://gopsusports.com/beaverstadiumrenovation
