Built in 1994, the exterior of this beautiful estate was showing signs of aging and deterioration. The owner contacted The Witmer Group in 2013 to survey the condition of their home’s façade. Upon inspection, The Witmer Team noticed stains and fading on a large portion of the EIFS finish, most likely caused by years of exposure to the harsh elements. In addition, several hairline cracks were uncovered and it was evident that joint sealants needed to be replaced.
The homeowners decided to move ahead with a complete EIFS restora tion which included cleaning, patching of dents & dings, crack repairs, recaulking of all doors, windows, vents and EIFS to dissimilar material joints and finishing with two coats Dryvit Weatherlastic® Premium Coating.
We were careful to protect the shrubbery and flowers and any parts of the home that were not being coated. The end result was a stunning renewal of the home’s exterior; back to it’s brand new, just built look. The client was very pleased with the beauty and curb appeal of their home and has peace of mind knowing that their investment will be well protected and aesthetically pleasing for years to come.
