Day 1 Highlight - Rappelling Training at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center
During the National Safety Stand-Down week, we are sharing fall protection training and resources we conduct throughout the year on our social media to extend fall protection education and the initiative to raise awareness and lower the risk of falls.
Day 1 Highlight – Rappelling Training at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center
The Witmer Group attends rappelling training every few years to stay up-to-date on safety and fall protection equipment, learn to adapt to challenges, and understand the unique process of single rappel and rescue procedures. This training helps prepare our team members and build confidence in rappelling techniques, which has become more common in our work practices.
The Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides a space for different disciplines of public safety to work and train together in simulated emergency situations.
The photos below demonstrate the dynamics of training, fall protection, and safety procedures.
