"A LOOK BACK" at the Charles L. Benton Building
Take “A LOOK BACK” with us on one of our prestigious projects – the Charles L. Benton Building. Over the years, weathering, age-induced decline, and pollutants had accelerated the breakdown of building materials. The city needed high-caliber professionals to restore the building to its former beauty. Once the interior of the building had undergone modernizations and upgrades, it was time to bring in The Witmer Group to tackle the problems of the building’s exterior.
OUR TEAM
Removed & replaced limestone and granite panels, repaired limestone wall panel with historic repair mortars, removed & replaced site pavers, and replaced and repointed caulk, repointed
limestone, and granite panels, cleaning- hot water cleaning, masonry detergent cleaning then neutralized building walls and captured masonry detergent effluent. Our team also removed and replaced steel studs, removed and replaced existing wall sheeting, removed existing granite wall connections, and welded on new angles and connections.
