New Video National Safety Stand-Down

September 2, 2020 - Written by: Anna Ricciardi

Let's prevent falls in construction together. Stand-Down with us! #StandDown4Safety

Fatalities caused by falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction employees, accounting for 320 of the 1,008 construction fatalities recorded in 2018 (BLS data). Those deaths were preventable. The National Safety Stand-Down raises fall hazard awareness across the country to stop fall fatalities and injuries. Our Assistant Safety Director and Director of Safety highlight the importance of the stand-down, how to get involved, and tips to conduct a successful stand-down.

The National Safety Stand-Down Week is September 14th-18th.
