Mount Joy, PA – December 15, 2021- The Witmer Group has welcomed four new team members to expand and improve its in-house processes and resources.
Jody Valenzo, Director of Administration
Mrs. Valenzo will be responsible for the company’s administrative support operations. She will hold key roles with contract negotiations, developing and managing information systems, monitoring company benefit/health insurance plans, and overseeing special event planning. She brings over 27 years of experience in the legal and banking industries. Mrs. Valenzo joins us from Fulton Financial Corporation where she spent over 22 years in Trust and Private Banking overseeing the operations and building client relationships. She previously worked in various areas of law as a Paralegal for law firms in Lancaster, PA. She holds an Associate’s Degree as a Paralegal from Central Penn Business College and a BS in Business Administration from Albright College. She resides in Lancaster, PA, with her husband and two children.
Brad Nielson, Project Manager, New Masonry
Mr. Nielson will be responsible for managing and coordinating the submittals, purchasing, and construction processes for New Masonry projects. He brings over 6 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Nielson joins us from Whiting-Turner Contracting Company where he most recently served as an Assistant Project Manager, responsible for assisting with the management of projects from start to finish. He holds a BA in Criminology from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Business Administration from Liberty University. He resides in Columbia, PA, with his wife and three children.
Scott Duke, Director of Business Development
Mr. Duke will be responsible for expanding The Witmer Group’s client base and fostering strong relationships with existing and new clients to build market share. He brings over 31 years of experience in sales and client relationship management. Mr. Duke joins us from Bauer Fastener and Power Tool Co., Inc. where he was responsible for overseeing inside and outside sales, purchasing, and training. He previously worked for Stanley-Bostitch as a Senior Account Manager where he was responsible for sales and service for new and existing accounts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He holds a BS in Administration of Justice from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Morgantown, PA, with his wife and two children.
Scott Wiest, Estimator, New Masonry
Mr. Wiest will be responsible for organizing and completing bids and proposals for New Masonry projects. He is also responsible for assessing and maintaining a workload schedule as well as coordinating labor and material takeoffs and managing site visits for material and site condition assessments. He brings over 20 years of experience managing commercial construction projects. Mr. Wiest joins us from Caretti, Inc. where he spent the last 20 years advancing through the company from a Field Laborer to a Masonry Superintendent and in more recent years moved into an Estimator/Project Manager role. He is a graduate of the Dauphin County Technical High School’s Masonry Program as well as the International Masonry Institute. He resides in Highspire, PA, with his wife and child.
