Project Background
The Witmer Group provided masonry services for a new apartment complex in Media, PA called West End Flats.
While on site, the team faced several challenges. Tight site logistics, brick inaccuracies-brick would not absorb moisture/set-up, a thin brick backup wall that was not flat or plumb and neighboring businesses made the job logistics tough. However, after nine months on the job, through teamwork, scheduling and strategy the team was able to finish the project.
The project consisted of extensive brickwork, totaling up to:

-26,052 Thin Brick
-72,860 Brick
West End Flats is now open to the public offering upscale amenities and luxury apartments with the options of one or two bedrooms for rent.
