An estimated 3 million trade jobs in the United States remain vacant.
We simply don’t have enough skilled trade workers. This shortage translates to increasing employment opportunities and higher wages to compensate for those that are already in the field. Construction, along with health care and personal care, will account for one-third of all new jobs through 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
