Witmer Waterproofing – Crispus Attucks York

December 16, 2024 - Written by: Anna Ricciardi

Crispus Attucks will be a 19,450-square-foot History and Culture Center that will lead the community in providing social services and holistic support to help all people learn, work, and thrive.

In the photos below you see the work spray-applied waterproofing completed by our waterproofing team. Spray-applied waterproofing is a highly effective solution for protecting building structures from moisture infiltration. This method involves the application of a continuous, seamless membrane that adheres directly to the surface, creating a durable and flexible barrier. One of the key benefits of spray-applied waterproofing is its ability to cover complex shapes, irregular surfaces, and hard-to-reach areas, ensuring a complete seal. This type of waterproofing also cures quickly, reducing downtime on the job site, and provides excellent resistance to water, air, and vapor intrusion. Additionally, it offers long-term durability, withstanding the movement of the building structure without cracking or losing adhesion, which makes it an ideal choice for both new construction and retrofit projects. By forming a seamless barrier, spray-applied waterproofing effectively prevents leaks, reduces energy costs by improving insulation, and extends the life of the building envelope.
